Since 2017, PūrDesigns has been dedicated to the idea that everyone deserves a well-designed place to live. For us, this means creating innovative homes regardless of project challenges. We see quality design being something for everyone, not just the wealthy. Home is where the heart is, which is why, at PūrDesigns, we focus on residential design.

Erick Schiefelbein, the founder and designer at PūrDesigns was born and raised in Janesville, WI.   Erick began his career as an entry level carpenter, working summers during high school, learning the craft of residential home building from the ground up.  After graduating collage, he continued his professional career in the Janesville area for a well-known general contractor, Webco Inc.  During his 16 plus years at Webco, Erick progressed from framing homes to serving as a project manager, lead draftsman, and IT specialist.  Over the course of his career, Erick has designed or aided in designing countless luxury custom homes and commercial projects ranging from new offices and re-models, to multi-unit apartment buildings.

At PūrDesigns, design isn't just art; it's a blend of strategic planning, problem solving, and a greater vision.  It's where form and function come together as one to create a home that meets the needs of everyone.
